Getting the handover done while it’s fresh
I helped someone turn a spoken account of her working day into a handover draft, ready to review and copy into Outlook when she gets home.
She used to write her handover after getting home and having dinner. By then, she was thinking back through a busy day when she wanted to be winding down.
We set up a ChatGPT project with the relevant context and a predefined email template. Now she talks through the handover using ChatGPT Voice through Apple CarPlay on her commute home, while the day is still fresh. At the end, she asks it to put the draft into her usual email format.
Back home, she can check it, copy it into Outlook and send it. She uses the workflow regularly and says it saves her time and leaves her evening free to relax. That’s her experience of the change; we haven’t measured a precise time saving.
The account here is anonymous. Any demonstration uses fictional material, and the email still needs her review before she sends it.

What I take from it
The familiar email template mattered. She could change how she prepared the handover and still finish it in the place she already used.
