The next computer-use test: my collection
I want to use ChatGPT with computer use to help prepare the sale of my football programmes and NME magazines, building on the work behind Terrace Archive.
Terrace Archive gave the collection a catalogue and a way for buyers to get in touch. My next experiment is to see where ChatGPT with computer use can help me work through the remaining programmes and NME magazines.
I’ve written a testing plan that starts with a small sample: ten varied programmes and twenty magazines. The idea is to use photographs and condition notes to prepare useful listings, compare relevant sold items and consider where bundles make sense.
I want to check the identification, condition, price and postage before anything is published. If a detail isn’t visible or known, it needs to stay uncertain. A polished description is no use if it describes the wrong edition.
This is a planned test. The first result I want is a set of accurate drafts I can review, followed by a clear account of what the computer-use tool helped with and what I had to correct.
